color mixed the skin, gums and horn colors. Painted the hornlet details, painted skin tones on fabric attachment piece.


Research and development from transitioning character art to the initial sculpting phases. provided assistance in clay build up, sculpting the shoulders of the creature.
Priming, Processing, and Color Mixing



Luca
Responsible for the processing of the 3D printed character heads, and priming them for paint. Applied Automotive clear coat to both heads and parts. Airbrushed mouth details, and assisted in assembly of heads.
Dora the Explorer


Responsible for processing 3D printed heads, and priming them for paint, as well as color mixing the Wicked paints for the final look



King Julien
Using both Paasche and Iwata guns with Wicked paints, the eyes were airbrushed based off of Dora the Explorer, Back Pack, and Boots concept designs. an Automotive clear coat was later used for the finish, using the same types of airbrushes.


Airbrushed paint onto fur for King Julien's feet. His gums and teeth were also masked, color mixed, airbrushed, and clear coated.

Responsible for paint finish with pigmented latex paint.



Blended separate palate piece onto head using latex.
Mickey Mouse



Painted Shoes with a flexible paint, and tested clear coat ratios to develop a semi gloss finish that matches the clients desired look. Sprayed clear coat on with a air gun in even coats, and finished with a sealer.
Toad


Sanded the foam assembly to be ready for paint. Painted the shoes for Toad using the same process as Mickey Mouse. Color mixed with the flexible paint base using pigments. used the flexible clear coat for semi-gloss finish.
